A bit about Jonathan...

Jonathan White is a Digital and Information Literacy skills practitioner and has worked in the FE sector as a learning technologist for 7 years. Jonathan advises tutors and students on how to enhance their teaching and learning using digital technology. His experience in this area has led to him writing a book that has recently been published called 'Digital Literacy Skills for FE Teachers'. This webinar is very timely as the sector is facing unprecedented funding cuts and is also reacting to last year’s FELTAG Report. It’s widely accepted that the increased use of learning technologies is essential to meet the many challenges facing the FE sector within the UK. Technology in itself will not solve the issues within FE, but they can have a transformative effect when used in the right ways.
